I’m a painter, writer, and walker. I started making maps as a way to combine my fascination with drawn information, and my awe of the incredible place I’m lucky enough to call home – and as an excuse to go out into the wilds as part of my ‘work’.

After a well-structured and beautiful career in architecture, I transported myself and my paints to Tasmania, where I relish the cold, clear air, the bracing water, the amazing food, and wonderful people.

When I’m not mapping, walking, or writing, I think a lot about reading, the reflection of light on walls, living in a monastery, whether I have over-watered my plants, Hugo the cat, and how better to care for this land and its inhabitants.
